Partitions in AX 2012

Hello!

Without the need to install Dynamics AX Again. The following steps illustrate how we can set up clean environment using Dynamics AX Partitions.

1- Go to System administrator > partitions.

2- Click add the enter partition Key, Name the click close.

3- Create new Shortcut and use the original installation path in the target field and make sure to add “-partition=[Partition Key]” in my case the path look like this

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Client\Bin\Ax32.exe” -partition=Bloger

4- Click Next to rename the Shortcut then click finish button.

5- Double click the new Shortcut to access the new partition (clean environment).

General Electronic Payment in AX 7

General electronic reporting (GER) is a new tool for maintaining payment file formats and regulatory electronic reporting. This is based on configurable setup rather than using coding to achieve these requirements. A single definition can be used in several versions and environments. However it is possible to create and maintain your own formats, it would require knowledge to do so. You can find some more information on the Wiki page.
